ARCHIVER UTILITIES

All of the music files on my page have been archived using either PKZIP, a PC archiver; or LHA, a popular archiver on the Amiga platform. Before you can listen to my music, you will need to download and install the appropriate ZIP or LHA unarchiver for your machine! Links to these are found below.

Archivers for PC and Macintosh

(PC) MS-DOS LHA Archiver
This MS-DOS utility, once installed, will process LHA files. The utility may be run from MS-DOS, or you can configure WinZIP to run it, and process the LHA archives from Windows 95 just like ZIP's.

HELP FILE FOR MS-DOS LHA
Please read this if you are using the MS-DOS LHA program, you will find the info most helpful.

(PC) WinZIP for Windows 95
This utility for managing ZIP files, can also be configured with the MS-DOS LHA archiver above, to process the LHA archives on this page.

(PC) Wallaby '95 for Windows 95
A Windows 95 utility for managing various archive formats, including LHA. Unlike the MS-DOS LHA, it WILL preserve Windows 95 long filenames. Recommended for unarchiving my music, if in Windows '95.

(MAC) LHA Archiver
Use this to undo my .LHA music files, if you are running on a Macintosh.

MED PLAYERS AND UTILITIES

Below are various utilities and players for different platforms, which may be used to process .MED files (the tracker format all my music is in). Once the music has been archived, you will download and run the appropriate program for your machine.

MED PLAYERS AND UTILITIES

A group of utilities (including a plugin, a player, and a tracker) which will load various formats, including .MEDs ... does not support MED synthsounds or hybrid sounds, and it does muff up some MEDs

(PC) Pulse Player 0.55 (Windows or DOS)
A player for Windows 95, in beta form, which plays a number of module formats including MED (MMD0-MMD2). Does a marginal job of these, but of course like Modplugin, does not support MED synthsounds or hybrids.

(PC) Sample Grabber Pro (MS-DOS)
So you PC people like my modules, and want to rip my sounds? Well, then, DO IT ... using this program, which supports a wide number of formats for import, including MED (MMD0-MMD2), and saves as all the popular sound formats (WAV, IFF, and the FastTracker XI, among these).
