MY PARENTS
These are my parents. My mom is an exceptional woman. Full of life, humour, love and acceptance. Retired for many years now, she fills her time helping me with my program and her biggest passion, reading.(oops, and her baseball, she loves her baseball!) She also spends some time each night on irc or icq, with me doing all the typing!
My father has been deceased for almost my entire life, but he also was filled with the same attributes as my mother. My life has been filled with stories of him through my siblings, pics and my mom.
This is my mom when she was almost 17 years old. She and my dad got married the following year.
This is my dad at age 24. He was in the Merchant Marines.
Mom at her 71st birthday party. I decided she really deserved a huge party after all these years of putting up with me! So I threw her this surprise party in 1996 at a hotel with 50 friends and pretty much all her immediate family. All 5 generations. Even managed to dig up some friends she hadn't seen in 30 years! What a surprise it was! Oh, and the chocolate bar? 5 lbs of pure chocolate! Mom is a chocoholic!!!!!
Mom and our friend Sawh. Mom says in her next life she is coming back as a beautiful young woman and is going to marry Sawh! Look out Sawh!!! hahaha And he agrees!!!
