'97 THE YEAR OF THE DRU
The silky sounds and wonderful voices of this group has reeled me in. Starting with their first single "Tell Me", from the Eddie soundtrack, every song on their self titled album describes and utilizes their special talents. I was blessed with the opprotunity to see them in concert, though they were only featured, and they preformed exactly as I thought. They were wonderfull. One of the resasons I like this group is because they all can sing, unlike some groups where only one or two members sing. There is no one lead singer for Dru Hill. All of them have a chance to show what they can do, SING. And dem boyz can sang. Eversince I bought their CD, I haven't been able to listen to anything else but Jazz, WOODY, Nokio, and Sisqo, honestly. To me it seems like I can relate to every track on the CD. Some I can relate to a little too much, like "In My Bed"...(the song NOT the video). Personally, I think that this group is going places. With their talent and faith in God, I see them having a long singing career.
I have to say, this is my new favorite group...I hope to be able to meet them one day...(O.k, so i did already...this was actually kinda funny):

As time goes by, we are seeing more and more of the might Dru power. Audiences everywhere are getting hooked. It's a fact: DRU HILL IS BLOWIND UP EVERYWHERE!!! Can they be stopped... I DON'T THINK SO. They have the talent, the looks, the personality, and the faith... they can do anything. They are representing B-MORE to tha fullest and that's for sure. DRU HILL ALL THE WAY BABY!!!! Look for them... in a city near you....
