"Beneath the Skin" contains 30 poems, ten of which are illustrated. This is my first book of illustrated poetry. In it, I attempted to peel back the skin to expose both the sweetness and acidity that runs through the veins of many of the wives, mothers, daughters, grandmothers and widows who have been a part of my life.
