Another cold winter day, in a field near home. This image is not a silver based photograph. It was "printed" on a piece of aluminum, using a full sized positive film. The areas hit by light became hardened, and the areas not hit by light were washed away during development. Then the exposed aluminum was blackened chemically. Unfortunately, the aluminum plate is very difficult to scan. Sadly, the spring after I made this image, the entire area in the scene was turned into a housing development.
