Then, there's gardening. That started out as a hobby, now it's more of an obsession. You'll find some gardening tips and some links about plants on "The Plant Page" ("PLANTS" on the links). Since I love plants and animals so much, it seems only natural that I really care about the environment. I know some fine organizations that can help all of us to save the environment. Please check out the link labeled, "NATURE."

Oh, yes.....maybe I should mention the wedding! On November 10, 1998, Mark and I met on the internet. Then, on August 8, 1999, we were married. If you'd like to see our wedding picture, go to 'Our Wedding.' (Be sure to hit your BACK button, when you're finished!) We are ecstatically happy!
On February 23, 2006, MY WORLD will become 8 years old! I must say that I'm still a bit in awe of computer technology and the internet. When I was starting to build this site, a friend told me, "A web site is a powerful tool...use it wisely." This has been reinforced by the statistics gathered by one of my counter services, 'Nedstat.' My web site has had visitors from, at least 112 countries. What an awesome responsibility! Being a Christian, I am reminded of Christ's 'Great Commission': "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) With a web site, I can go into all the world.
While I don't plan on actually 'preaching' to anyone, I do hope to provide a Christian example. Everything on this web site will always be suitable for the entire family. You will see scriptures quoted occasionally. Mostly, it is my hope that something on this web site will uplift you, or make you feel better, in some way. Please visit MY WORLD again, soon!
