Puff Daddy Biography

Mase's Biography
Mason Betha was born in Florida and at the age of 6 he moved to
Harlem, New York. Right around age 15 he moved back to Florida by
his parents insistence to stay off the Harlem streets and out of
trouble. He went back to New York to go to school at SUNY, where
he got a basketball scholarship. There he was encouraged to rap by
a compliment about his ryhme skills and went to Atlanta in 1996 to
attend a music conference in hopes of catching the attention of
Jermaine Dupri. Instead, he was approached by Puffy after he heard
a demo of Mase.
