This week's club bulletin will cover the activities of the 7th & 8th General Meeting held on 14th & 21st April respectively.

Club Attendance
Club attendance for the last 2 meetings have not been encouraging.  The averag attendance have been lower than 50%.  For those of you who have not been attending, please try to come.  We would love to meet you and have you joining us in the meeting and fellowship.

What went on ..........
14th - Charter Night has been postponed to 11th July.  Reason: TYT the Governor of Malacca will be in Europe during mid June.

Attendance - CP Mark and DGSR PP Tay Loo Wee advised regular attending members to coax/persuade other irregular/never-attended members to attend meetings regularly.  DGSR has also recommended that members encourage friends to attend meetings.

Rtn. Dr. Ding Choo Chang have a talk on his profession as a General Surgeon.
He gave a brief description on the various diseases that he treated and operated ranging from goitre to hemia.  Very stunning and effective visual effects (as felt by Rtn. Karyn).  Report in detail in the next page.

21st - CP Mark announced that the Charter Certificate of our club is ready and we graduated from "The Provisional Rotary Club of Kota Laksamana Malacca" to "The Rotary Club of Kota Laksamana Malacca" on the 1st April, 1998.

Announcement of General Meeting cancellation for the following week due to public holiday.  Please note that there will be no meeting if a public holiday falls on the meeting day.

We have received lots of Rotary matters from R.I. and some of the Rotary literature was distributed.

Club bulletin editor Rtn. Benny apologize for the "missing" issues.

Rtn. Dr. Robert Yeo gave a talk on his profession - EYE.
