MicroComputer Specialist:
Was the year
of 1980 when I put my hands in my first machine!
It was an Spectrum with 48 K! after that I has
others like the an Radio Shack, the TRS-80, the
Atari ST (a must , in my opinion), the Apple II,
the same in their model IIe, the Amstrad, a
Commodore, and the Amiga 500...
What was wrong
with these machines?, the so called "propietory
arrangement", always was very frustrated to move
to another machine that only to discover that
has his OWN Operational System and others like
peripheral's and printers disk drivers, etc that
these parts that you already has not works equal
in all others machines. All the time you has to
need to learn again about commands and
behaviors' of each manufacturer.
Well, this was the
reason why Bill Gates is today who rules in
computers : in an
amazing coincidence he gave to IBM an OS to be
installed free in their new prsonal computers
just released creating the "open architecture"
together the first IBM XT and the new OS for
personal computers named D.O.S. as a results the
problem above was avoided: you would buy and
install printers or any other parts of many
others manufacturers, and stand confident that
must work attached to your machine, It's simple
like that: the offer and the demand market!
Instructor/expert for Windows
95/98. Software
expert with advanced skills in the MS Office
products, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, of
course D.O.S. since the version of 2.0 to 6.22
until the old fashioned (?) Windows
3.11
I'll explain this , as
stated above I used this machines since the 80's
and in same situation I have watched the birth
and growth os some interesting pices of software
i.e: talking about word processors I has started
with a nice program knowed as the TASMAN, and
then migrated to the WorsStar, in spreadsheets I
started with the Visicalc, and more late
migrated to Lotus 123, this a reason why I
prefers the Office products, du to his
compatibility.
Also in the Adobe
Products like Phostoshop, Page Maker (which it's
better and better since the old days of Aldus),
Finally, the Corel
Draw, and the Web Designer from the same
softhouse.
I uses in free times
(more free time! this guy never has sleeps?) to
act as an Instructor for all those products.
Astronomer and Theologist,
this was an old
passion, who of these that uses to spend some
time observing the stars and to read studing
about the theories of the Universe, his origin,
etc. may undertand what I want to said here,
that when paying attention to this matter, our
universe, you will go directly to found your own
path to God throught stars,...
What a wonderful way
to open your hearth to knowledge, Think about
it!.
