"Which Union is the Pariah of the Labor Movement"

Or the dag on the anus of the Union Movement

 

 

There can be no doubt that this Union has now been relegated to the dustbin of Trade Union History

The constant undermining of the Job delegates by the paid officials of this Union indicate only one thing.

That the Union is diametrically, philosophically and ideologically at odds with its lifeblood;

The Fee Paying Member.

Consider other Unions, the Teachers , the Firemen , the Ambos` , the C.F.M.E.U. , they have all entered into the fray to gain a better deal from this wishy washy , half baked socialist government.

What has this Union and its PAID officials done?

"Absolutely nothing"

Hundreds more local government jobs will be lost over the next six months , and these highly paid Union Bosses , stand around whining , wringing their hands , biting their lips , wearing their bleeding hearts on their sleeves and tell the membership how hard they are done by , and all about their stress , and ulcers , and heart problems.

"Who gives a tinkers cuss?"

"If the you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!"

At the exorbitant rates of pay this Union pays its employees, we should have high flying legal eagles representing us , unfortunately this is not the case. One only has to read past Press Releases to be exposed to the truth. Most of you would have seen the latest waste of money from these losers, the advertisement purporting to be a company forcing people to sign an agreement.

The question this raises for us is:

"Who is next to go?"

We believe that the deal struck with the State Government over road funding will cost at least 50% of the positions presently occupied by members. These cuts will be implemented by "Market Testing" and other cost reducing methods.

 

 

Union fails Childcare Workers!

 

But the main concern for our salaried members is in the area of childcare and Libraries, particularly in Metropolitan Areas.

The childcare members have over some time attained a considerable advantage over the private sector, up to $25% above in some areas. Some councils have "Market Tested" this area and have now proceeded to play hard ball with these members. They are using the Competition Policy to the nth degree, to intimidate these members into accepting reduced, wages, and conditions, with the extension of hours, both worked and rostered.

There has been no constructive defense organized for these members, is this another case of throwing a few more members to the lions to placate the beast? If so , surely there must be a "COLLECTIVE" awakening within this union .

Is it not time to search out better Union representation?

One only has to has to watch the news or read the newspapers, Unions like the C.F.M.E.U., move into action as soon as even one of their members is interfered with , a recent example was the 62 yearold woman who was denied her long service leave . The C.F.M.E.U. had picket lines there almost instantly.

Like the advertisement says " Who will be next?"

Can you trust these people with your future?

"Its Time to Resign"Questions you must ask yourself?

Is it in my interests to maintain membership of this Union?

Or

Shall I resign immediately, regain my self-esteem and give myself a pay rise?
