Munchy's Pony Sanctuary
"Hello!
There comes a time in every pony's life when we do not look our best.
Maybe a horn becomes chewed or a mane becomes ragged, and we find it a
chore just to get up in the morning. These are the little ponies that most
need your help. Here at my Refuge there are many little ponies who have
been through tragic and horrific experiences, and have come here as a last
resort, a haven in which to spend the rest of their days in peace.
These ponies don't deserve ridicule, far less to be tossed aside and
unloved. Here at the Refuge every pony is welcome, regardless of condition.
And so that brings us to this page. It's perhaps a sad reflection on
the nature of the world that the sanctuary is expanding day by day...haven't
any of you watched Toy Story? But in all seriousness, it's nice to know
that we are able to give a loving respite home to every waif and stray
pony out there, wherever they come from. Our refugee have come from everywhere
from Finland to Singapore, and we are very grateful to all the kind collectors
who have helped these lost souls find their way to English shores.
If you have a little pony whom you feel can benefit from the loving,
nurturing environment we offer, please email
me and we'll see if we can arrange respite care.
Though Taffeta and I have been pony collecting a long time, and have
lots of lovely ponies, I have always been drawn to rescuing the battered
and beaten creatures from the rickety table or dusty old box of the car
boot sale or the cruel strike of the Ebay mallet. Sadly, there are more
and more ponies flowing into the sanctuary in need of care from all over
the world, and it is here we need your help, to end the pony cruelty and
to remember...
Every pony needs to dream sometimes :)
Thanks and love,
Munchy xx
This award was won for the site as a whole, but as it was this aspect
of the site which actually secured it I figured it should go on this page
as well.
Thanks, Windy. All of the sanctuary members are very proud and are
glad that other people feel they matter :)
