She showed a home grown wether named
J.P. and placed 5th with him in his
weight class.

She showed a solid red wether named
Blake placed 2nd in his weight class.

2005 SHOW WETHER WINNERS 



2005 was a very good year for Katie
in the show ring and she showed all
home bred and raised wethers with the
most noted one being the one that
placed 10th at the State Fair of Texas
even after having the vet do minor
surgery just an hour before she showed.
She had class winning wethers at the
County show and placed in the major
shows she attended.


As usual, I was behind on the shutter
bug thing so we are getting copies
of the winning show wethers from the
people who bought them at the premium
sales as soons as possible.


Once again we need to say thank you
to my sister Susan for coming out
from Dallas and doing the farm chores
with help from Katie's grandma
Mona Fetty.  With out the help and love
from family all that Katie has been
able to accomplish would not have been
possible. Katie also wanted to thank
all the people who helped at the shows
with her wethers and their are several
of them, so thank you.


Katie is an incredible young lady, she
attends highschool and college and kept
an "A" average in both areas during her
Junior year in highschool not to mention
being in the Beta Club, Cross Country,
and Track to name a few.


2006 will be her last year to show in the
wether shows but she is busily getting
ready to switch her sites to the Boer
breed shows.

2004 SHOW WETHER WINNERS 


Katie had a good year at the
Hunt County Fair.  There were 
a approximately 200 head tagged
in for the show, Katie took 7 head.
She walked out of the fair with
a Class Champion, 1-4th place,
3-5th places, a 7th place and a 
9th place. 


The Judge was excellent and talked
with all the kids.  We felt lucky
to have this caliber of judge at the 
county show due to he will be Judging
San Antonio Stock Show in the year
2005.


We would like to thank Mr. Lambert and
Mr. Hoppy for their help and advice.


Katie would like to give a very special
thanks to her Grandma, and Russel
and Brenda Richter for being there for 
her when her Mom had to work and for all 
their support and encouragement over the
past year. Ya'll get ready for 2004-2005!


Thank you to Aunt Susan, Russel, and Grandma
for doing all of the chores, births puppies,
gets does in when they get out, kids out does
when we are on the road. With out such good
friends and family we wouldn't be able to
do what we have been able to do this past year.


Katie thanks the following 4-Her's who
helped show when she had more than one
wether in a class: Micah Hammack, Tara,
and Kate. Thank you for doing an excellent
job.
