Roxette

Well, so now you know I really must be some kind of freak if my favorite music group is Roxette. But it's not so bad, really. If you ask me why, the real answer is that all their music sounds pleasant to me, and that some of them are even personally meaningful.
Now what on earth could I have to say about them? I'm not about to try and repeat a list of interviews, or details about personal information. There's already plenty of sites about that. Instead of all that, I'll try and come up with the songs of theirs that are the most meaningful, or interesting, and advise people to at least listen to these.
A first song to try out would be "Queen of Rain." I liked the metaphor of the house the first time I heard it, but more than that the story of losing innocence to someone, and then missing that someone afterward is something I can rather relate to. It's something special, something that's supposed to be sacred, ending with one person wondering where it all went.
A slightly happier "Neverending Love" has just the opposite theme as "Queen of Rain." It's the chase that ensues once you realize that there's someone else like you in the world. Someone who can understand you. Someone who you understand, and want to understand. And of course, someone to dance with in the moonlight.
"Fingertips" is all about falling in love. We've all done it at least once, and I think that this song managed to capture the spirit of the whole process. In the song, images of how it all starts with something so innocent as running her fingers through his hair reminds me that it is inded the little things that make big changes.
