Family Ties was one of the definitive sitcoms of the 1980's. The show, which ran from 1982 - 1989, launched Michael J. Fox's career. It is interesting to note that the producers were not happy with Fox during the intial casting period. They actually had their hearts set on Matthew Broderick. Fox was a vital factor in the show's success. |
