DEVELOPMENT AND EUROINTEGRATION (ASDE) - ECOZONE SOFIA /ASDE/ is a non-profit, non-governmental public organization. It is a legal
entity. Governmental, municipal and public support will be accumulated to foster the sustainable development on local level in line with the goals of AGENDA 21. |

Goals: |
| |
- To undertake the implementation of the Local Model for Sustainable Development and Eurointegration-Ecozone "Sofia-East", as well as the accompanying pilot projects;
- To support and participate in the formation and accomplishment of municipal and governmental sustainable development policy, establishment of civil society in Sofia and Bulgaria;
- To assist in the development of Euro-integration processes on a local scale;
- To establish a model for Regional Information Centre which will promote the GIS for the Ecozone, as well as information and knowledge transfer from EU programmes and other international organisations;
- To help in the transfer and implementation of environmentally friendly innovative technologies;
- To represent the city and the region in the international co-operation in sustainable development management systems, local self-government and civil society, the transfer of environmentally friendly
technologies;
- To promote investment tools, associations for pilot projects implementation, which should follow the sustainable development tasks and assist in the implementation of the EMP and the Model.
