have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order
that I may gain Christ" (Philippians 3:7-8)

NO TEMPTATION HAS OVERTAKEN YOU BUT SUCH AS IS COMMON TO MAN; AND GOD IS
FAITHFUL, WHO WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO BE TEMPTED BEYOND WHAT YOU ARE ABLE,
BUT WITH THE TEMPTATION WILL PROVIDE THE WAY OF ESCAPE ALSO, THAT YOU MAY
BE ABLE TO ENDURE IT. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

After washing the Disciples' feet:
"You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I Am. If I then,
The Lord and The Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one
another's feet. For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did
to you." (John 13:13-15)
"Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to
eternal life, which The Son of Man shall give to you, for on Him The Father,
even God, has set His Seal." (John 6:27)
After 40 days and 40 nights of fasting, Jesus was hungry.
And the temptor came and said to Him, "If you are the Son of God,
command that these stones become bread."
But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live on
bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of
God." (Matthew 4:3-4) (See also Deuteronomy 8:3)
"Brethren, even if a man is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual,
restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself,
lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the
law of Christ." (Galatians 6:1-2)
"HE MUST INCREASE,

will raise him up on the last day." (John 6:44) (See also John 6:65)
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments; and His
Commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the
world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith. And
who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is
The Son of God." (1 John 5:3-5)

"This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according
to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have success." (Joshua 1:8)
NOTE: Please understand that this is NOT an endorsement for anyone to think of The Bible as
a way to make money, nor to find success and prosperity in the ways of the world. Success
and prosperity belong to them of the world who live according to the world, with rewards of
the world (which can't be kept) and the penalties of believing in the world and not in The
Lord. Success and prosperity also belong to them who desire to serve The Lord -- walking by
The Spirit -- with rewards of The Spirit (which are eternal) and the everlasting life of The
Lord who died for the sins of all. The one embraces the finite and its limitations, while the
other embraces all that eternity with The Lord has to offer.

who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will
disclose Myself to him." (John 14:21)
"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,
not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but
encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing
near." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
"What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, that you also may
have have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with The
Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:3)
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the Peace of God,
which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds
in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
"If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ask whatever you wish,
and it shall be done for you." (John 15:7)
"And in that day you will ask Me no question. Truly, truly, I say to you,
if you shall ask The Father for anything, He will give it to you in
My Name." (JOHN 16:23)

receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:24)

THE ARMOR OF GOD:
Finally, be strong in The Lord, and in the strength of
His Might. Put on the full armor of God, that you may
be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the powers, against the
world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual
forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore,
take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to
resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to
stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your
loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of
righteousness, and having shod your feet with the
preparation of the Gospel of PEace; in addition to all,
taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able
to extinguish all the flaming missles of the evil one.
And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is The Word of God. With all prayer and
petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this
in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and
petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that
utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth,
to make known with boldness the mystery of The Gospel,
for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in
proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
(Ephesians 6:10-20)
