A BRIEF HISTORY

38 years ago on 16th July 1959, CMS began its first session with five students on its rolls. The first words written on the blackboard were 'Jai Jagat' symbolising a 'Global Concept' and standing for 'Hail the World'. These words, derived from the teachings and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and Sant Vinoba Bhave, were adopted as the motto of the school. These words epitomise the CMS vision and are a statement of the CMS mission. This is, to shape the future of mankind by training generations to become ideal world citizens. Today, the CMS family has the satisfaction of imparting value-based, quality-education to over 22,000 students, in 20 branches spread all over Lucknow.

The Founder Manager Mr. Jagdish Gandhi and Mrs. Bharti Gandhi have worked ceaselessly to make this entire organisation a result-oriented group and to make events like BEAM and QUANTA possible.
