Neon 24 Hours A Day!
Hello and welcome to my little corner of cyberspace! It's 1999 now, so I figured I'd better update this a little. 1998 had some memorable highlights. I met many of my online X-Files friends in person: Flag, Firefly, Nicky, Czarina Alex, Rena and Yappi in California;Shameless at an OSU coffee house; Boggs and Bri at the Expo in Chicago; Philes too numerous to list at the XPA gathering in Philadelphia; and Mrs P's visit to my house in the fall. I also had a long-awaited reunion with some of my dearest friends, Ecki and Kellie, at (of course) a Mike Peters concert. Seeing Mike and Jules again was great fun, too...I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mike's new band Coloursound (with Billy Duffy of the Cult) - rave reviews aplenty after they played at Asbury Park, NJ! The music scene desperately needs a kick in the ass!
I have a new addition to my household. In November I adopted Arlan from Ohio Greyhound Placement. He was retired from racing at the young age of two because he was too slow. I think he just knew there was more to life than running around in circles! Now he has a busy schedule of napping, going outside, eating and drinking, napping, playing with toys, playing in the laundry pile, stretching, and napping.
Sooo...what are my goals for 1999? ummm...how about to watch more "ER" episodes? I can do that!
