Nickname: Since he was such a big built child he was always called big Ben Ingles then it was shortened to Bingles.
History: Same as Filly but was in America since he was 12.

Doc: about 5'6; she has black, blueish hair tucked under a hat; her father was a Cheyenne medicine man (he went to school and became a doctor) but was murdered because somebody didn't give a child the medicine correctly and the parent blamed the Doctor. She traveled to Brooklyn to get away from the people who still blamed her father and had made her an outcast. She carries her father's old black bag (the famous doctor black bag) full of the herbs, etc. that her dad taught her to use. Now she runs around Brooklyn, Manhattan, etc. doctoring. She isn't a newsie.

Nickname: Her name is filly which she got because she is skittery and jumpy, yet very trusting, and in love of freedom.
History: Came from Australia to America because she was hurt badly there by a man that lived near her. Her Father ran out on his family, and her mother died. She has only got her brother (Bingles), Big Ben Ingles. They are both Manhatten newsies. She has been in America since she was 10.

Background: Medda came from a rich background, her parents provided her with everything possible. They moved to Manhattan when she was 13. She was taught to read and write by her older sister. She got her big break when she was 15 singing at the palace, now the modern day Irving Hall. She befriended Kloppman, the man who discovered her. She grew up living in an apartment above the theatre. When the owner (Irving) Died, he left her the theatre, she then renamed it and dedicated it to him. For years it has been a safe hiding place for the Newsies.

Name: Patrick Meyers
Age: 15, going on 16. His birthday is in March.
Appearance: Dark skin, curly brown hair, brown eyes
Past: At the age of 7, Mush ran away from his abusive parents in NYC and headed south. He got to Philadelphia before being caught and sent to an orphanage in northeastern Pennsylvania, which is where he met Spacey. When he was about 12, he ran away to NYC, where he became a newsie.
Relationships: Good friends with Spacey; has a crush on Searcher, but has no sense of commitment.
Personality: Very protective of people he cares about, a tiny bit romantic, easy-going, friendly, pretty charming, flirts a lot.
