News!!!

3/5/99 We played our last show a week ago. Thanks to everyone who came...it means a lot to us. Later tonight, Tim and I are going to mix down our last recording. These are the two songs we recorded for the split 7" with the Warren Commission. Who knows, maybe this record will see the light of day. Some new projects may be coming soon. Ken is playing guitar with a band called The Coopers. They sound like the Pixies beating the shit out of the Beatles. Watch out for other stuff...

2/12/99 I've been putting this off all week. We're breaking up. It really is a difficult thing, because of what this band means to us. But, sometimes it's time to move on. We have found it to be increasingly difficult to continue makeing music because of several uncontrollable factors. Basically, this band has to be the four of us or none of us. Nothing else will cut it. We have two shows left to play, in Palmer MA on Feb 20th and in Portland ME on Feb 27th. After that we may never play again. It's not impossible, but we're just not thinking about that right now. For me, the past two years have been a great experience; I love everyone in this band and I always will. Tim and I have been playing music together for years, and Jamie and Bob have been playing together for years. We can only hope that this will continue. We really have so many people to thank: Tiago, Chirs, Joel, Abby, Sean, Kat, Andy, Doug and the Warren Commission, Scott and Sadie Hawkins, Six Going on Seven, Empathy Test, The boys from Pennsylvania: Adam, Phil and Dave; Roslyn, Orchid, John Toms, Steve Wardlaw, all the guys in Peterbuilt, Pat West, Randy Cowgill, WUNH, Tipping Canoe, Joe Grillo and Andy in Portland. You've all helped us out in such big ways.
We're going to sell our stuff really cheap. 7"s are $3 PPD or $1 at shows. Get them now, they're almost sold out (repress? yeah right). T-shirts are $6 PPD, $4 at shows. The Halcyon days comp CD with us, the Warren Commission and Strikeforce is $5 PPD or $3 at a show. Our address is PO Box 1193, Amherst MA, 01004-1193. Thank you, Ken

Just in case you care, here's a list of our releases, recordings and songs:
2/97 Demo cassette (Tim, Bob, Jamie and Matt) End of Things, 1,000 Days, Property Manager, Teen Potpourri, Turn my Back to You, Groundhog Day and Land Down Under

8/97 'Wait' 7" on Medical Records (Tim, Bob and Jamie) End of Things, 48 Hours, Propery Manager and Temporary

3/98 (Tim, Bob, Jamie and Ken) We recorded Dairy Farmer, Metallica, Falcon Kite and Two Steps back with John Toms. The vocals to Dairy Farmer were re-recorded and it was released at "Basic Radar Gun" on the Change Zine Comp CD in 10/98. Falcon Kite was released on the Halycon Days CD comp in 1/99. Metallica and this version of Two Steps Back are unreleased, although this recording of Two steps back is on all of our booking tapes. Our booking tapes have Dairy Farmer, Two Steps Back, 48 Hours and Property Manager

1/99 (Tim, Bob, Jamie and Ken) We recorded Positions Available and Two Steps Back for the split with the Warren Commission with Steve Wardlaw at Goat Song in Amherst, MA. Hopefully this will come out. The songs sound fucking great. We have a song called "Boston" that was played a lot live and never recorded. We also have two new songs, tentatively called "Quinnipiac" and "New Song" that have only been played live. Another new one hasn't ever been played outside of rehearsal. That's it folks.
