GRP Automotive Racing Team..
The GRP Team is made up of 3 people, Dean Godfrey, Jason Higgs and Doug Lewis.
Dean started theTeam with his mate, Phil. Building a Gemini 4 door race car.Doug joined the Team with his truck and helped with work on the car.
Jason joined the Team with his Gemini coupe some 12 months later, giving us 2 cars to run.
With GRP Automotive increasing it's business,Dean had to stop racing. Doug took over the driving for the next 12 months.
1998 saw Jason do well, getting some of the quickest times he has ever done and improving his standing in the Over Championships.
Doug didnot fair any better but had fun trying. His goal was to beat the "girls". An unfortunate accident with a wall that got in the way, put paid to his racing for the year.

The GEMINI'S
The Gemini race cars are basicly road production cars. They have slight modifications to the motor and suspension.
The tyres are "controlled" Dunlop Monza road tyres.
The engines have a "controlled" cam and numbered.
The cars must not weigh in more than 910 kg after any race.
The DADDO..
The "Daddo" (Datsun) has a 1600cc motor fitted with 4 side draft carbs. The motor has had extensive modifications done to it.
The body and mechanics have been modified to the degree that it no longer has much of the original equipment fitted.
The tyres are slick (treadless)
The car races in the Sports Sedan Class.
