Out there, so pure and bright, Twinkles a spark of turquoise Of sudden striking orange At merest move of head. Far finer than any gem Mined and shaped by human hand, Is that single drop of dew - As plain, as simple and complete As a star, a new-born babe, Or the hope in the heart of a child. © Tony Ritchie
Tony Ritchie was born in 1937 in Queenstown, Tasmania, and grew up "on" Fingal. A teacher for 38 years, and a principal for 26, he taught in schools statewide.
