INTRODUCTION
For your convenience, we have broken the FEd Cup down into
6 easy to download packs. You dont need all four packs, but you will definitely be missing
out if you don't have them.
Note that FEdPack #1 is required, the rest are optional.

INSTALLATION
If you have the full installation, all of these
directories should exist. If the directory does not exist, CREATE IT YOURSELF. WC98
will read from the harddiskfirst, and then check the CD!
Please click on the filename.
FEdPack1 (Rosters and Flags) -
required
- Copy COMMON.ZIP into the WC98\COMMON\ directory and UNZIP;
- Copy USER.ZIP into the WC98\USER\ directory and UNZIP;
- Copy GLOBAL.ZIP into the WC98\FE\GLOBAL\ directory and UNZIP;
- Copy SFLAGS.ZIP into the WC98\FE\PACK\GLOBAL\ directory and UNZIP;
- Copy IGFLAGS.ZIP into the WC98\FE\INGAME\IGFLAGS\ directory and UNZIP;
- *NOTE : Make sure that the USER directory does not contain any DB files other than
the TMMNG.DB that ships with the FEd Cup.
FEdPack2 (Team Audio) -
optional
- Copy FEDPACK2.ZIP into the WC98\AUDIO\TEAM\ directory and
UNZIP;
FEdPack3 (First Half of Player
Audio) - optional
- Copy FEDPACK3.ZIP into the WC98\AUDIO\PLRS\ directory and
UNZIP;
FEdPack4 (Second Half of Player
Audio) - optional
- Copy FEDPACK4.ZIP into the WC98\AUDIO\PLRS\ directory and
UNZIP;
FEdPack5 (First 40 Kits) -
optional
- Copy FEDPACK5.ZIP into the WC98\INGAME\PLAYER\TEXTURES\
directory and UNZIP.
FEdPack6 (Last 40 Kits) -
optional
- Copy FEDPACK6.ZIP into the WC98\INGAME\PLAYER\TEXTURES\
directory and UNZIP.

UN-INSTALLATION
You could copy all the directories mentioned above from the
CD back to harddrive. I would recommend just reinstalling WC98. Its easier and achieves
the same effect.

ISSUES
- There may be some commentary glitches. When Motson calls the
goalkeeper or a scorer, the original WC98 players name may be called.
- The FEd Cup will only work with the English installation of
the game. Terribly sorry, but it could not be avoided. You can try copying FCDB_ENG.DBI to
FCDB_ITA.DBI (Italian) or whatever. I hear it worked with the French version.
- In non-3Dfx mode, there may be a graphic glitch at the
bottom of the players socks. This doesnt seem to be a problem in 3dfx mode.
- You will notice that all the team skill bars are really low.
This does not matter! Its a WC98 screw up and does not reflect the actual team skills.

EXCLUSIVITY
- The FEd Cup is NOT to be included as part of any commercial
packages.
- It is free, gratis and for nothing.
- The FEd Cup is exclusive to Fed Cup Official site (part of
FSH).
- If you come across the add-on, please feel free to use it
but do us a favor and don't delete this documentation file though.
