UNORGANISED SECTOR and lack of social security Without social security and medical benefits in ‘Informal sector’ old age is severe, serving as slaves to own children, Is this not deprivation of human rights?.. Here is my home page: we can observe major percentages of aged handicapped people without safe survival options becoming beggars or living distressing life. This is our future too!!! Find the real story and the correspondences with appropriate authorities

Lacking social security and Medical benefit to unorganized sector is epidemic root cause of old age poverty

This web site of SADASHIVAN is an eye opener and a request to ILO/ WTO/ UNO/ AND OTHER HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANISATION TO COME FORWARD SAVE THEIR FUTURE OF OLD AGE !!!!!!!!

A letter concerning unorganized sector pension was sent to the Prime Ministers office of India, which replied, vide letter NO: 14853 DT. 19/10/1989 being forwarded to the Labor Ministry. Then Labor ministry letter DT. 10/4/1990 replied being forwarded to Employees State Insurance Corporation A disappointing ESIC reply under letter NO: X-11/15/8/90-P&D/363 dt.10/5/1990 replying ESI is a contributory scheme for the workers of the factories establishments coming within the purview of ESI Act, 1948. Similarly, International Labor Organization letter NO: 110/1-9960 DT 29/11/1988   and UNO letter DT. G/SO/215/1 DT. 13/7/1990 responded negatively. There are thousands of organizations, who can realy come ahead with this mission to approach appropriate countries making them understand the necessity and influence them to provide social security to workers who are in UNORGANISED SECTORS

This book explains how bad relation of daughter and mother in laws contribute to old age destitute. The only wish of many aged - We want nothing; take all from us whatever we have. But share some time and listen to what we have. We dont live to hurt you, but need a bit of care and a feel of recourse. We also lived through the age you have. We too were tied and gave birth to kids like you. Mother and Father had their position; we could never dare challenge in our times. They had respect and we had respect. Please don’t neglect us; we make mistakes, forgive us as you do with your kids.

This video clip is dedicated to those who work in unorganized sectors in developing countries. Through this traditional Indian classical music and song I wish to bring attention of old aged people who lack social security to secure their old age... and the respective countries... to address this issue in priority. Most developing countries lack social security schemes to their citizen employed in unorganized sectors. Without social security and lack of family or children care most old aged people come to street for begging through all means. An old aged blind man singing (with his female partner) out side Hindu Jain temple, in Khajhuraho (Madhya Pradesh) India. This beautiful music and song belongs to Tulsidas Ramayana. Listen and imagine your old age without the support of children and lack of social security. Be prepared..............

Anathema of informal sectors... We are human with no human touch!!!  (POEM)

It was morning sunshine day,
Chilled winter teasing breeze,
Bracing my soul and heart,
I was fresh doing my yoga in the park,
During gossip with my friend,
He said go to church, go to temple,
You not only find a God,
But also raise energy frees from ill health,
I got enticed by these words,
Persuaded me visiting church,
So shall have peace of mind...
On one day, I was on way visiting church,
I met an aged begging in street,
He was in pathetic dirty stinking state,
Dress was ragged as old as his age,
Ignoring him I moved forward,
But heard his whispering lyrical voice,
"Even dirt sometimes gives teachings of good,
Like Lotus rises from muddy pond".
I halted when heard imaginary words,
He looked at me smiled a bit and continued,
"Dirt is force consumed by mother earth,
fertilize its womb feeds us through plants and trees".
A long breath and then said,
"Even fragranced Rose rots when it's stale and old,
Yet is rose, never hate old, old is gold.
Hating old is hating future".
Raised his hand asking alms,
"It's not that I love to beg,
Don't beg I can't live,
Beg for food and medication I need";
Instilled my emotions and warmed my heart,
Gave him alms enough for week;
The rhyme strings drove my mind,
Inquisitiveness rose to know more about him,
His history and his past, what was he?
Where is he from and why he begs?
In my country aged are as respectful as God.
That further allured me; sat beside him for some time.
He said his name as ‘Ram'
A son of farmer studied up to high school,
Migrated from village to Indian town,
In his young and healthy age,
First he worked in a private firm,
Then began a small business,
Ailing wife's medication and surgery bills,
Failed his business and life,
Did not lose his young valor,
Plied cycle rickshaw all day and night,
Despite struggle and hard work,
He could only manage merely pull on life;
In his mid age worked in factory,
Anathema of informal sectors,
Drove him out of job,
Had no more work as severely ill;
Drops of tears wetted his eyes,
In gloomy voice said
"Is not the story of mine alone"?
"This curse lingers on to all",
"Who work in informal sectors"?
"Have no pension, not even medical aid",
"Old age is brutal in countries like India
and similar in Asia and Africa",
"We are human with no human touch",
it was shocking revelation,
of inhumanity with humans,
emotional suffrage world gives to them!
For children aged are burden!
Even Governments don't want!
Where should they go?
Problem of all informal-sector workers,
No one likes to solve!
World wants to retain this issue intact,
so slogan for election campaign lasts long...
It may not be poem of your standard,
but awareness for all to make a catchphrase,
Fight for rights of Informal Sector as human rights...\
