Help a Child smile

This has been made for a 10 year old boy (Jonathan) who has Aplastic Anemia.. He is very ill and is need of All Our prayers.. His mother felt that it would help raise his spirits to see many people write to him in a living card..

Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes are non-contagious and often fatal blood diseases that occur when the bone marrow stops making enough healthy blood cells. Although all of the causes are still unknown, they have been linked to toxins and viruses that we are in contact with every day.

Research is desperately needed because more people then ever are being stricken with these disorders, and there is no one cure that is guaranteed to work for everyone. We are making progress in the fight against these diseases - every year the chances for survival are increasing, thanks to advances in medical research.
