So who was the 1000th visitor, then? One day last week, Matinee's bass player attempted to launch a half-baked competition to reward said Matinee idol with a bottle of bubbly. Trouble is, no-one's come forward to claim their prize yet, leading to strong suspicions that there's only us that reads this stuff...

Anyway, in order to find out who you punters are, the Guestbook is back up, so please feel free to leave your comments about our little band. There's also a new song for you to listen to on the 'Soundtrack' page - 'Thoroughly Modern' - which is destined for release very soon. We hope that Courtney, who inspired the song, is well, wherever she is.

The other exciting news is that Matinee will be playing their first gig of the year with their friends Chris T-T and the Duckyfuzz Upstairs At The Garage in Highbury on Saturday March 6. It's a club night called Club V. We hope you will pencil it into your jotters, turn up, dance and enjoy yourselves like you tried to do at our earlier, funnier gigs.
