After much thought and deliberation, I have decided to stop maintaining this page. I have not updated it all season (03/04) because at the mid-point of last season I started to pull away from Beacons hockey. When asked this season if I was a Beacons fan anymore I replied always that I was a "UHL fan". I still stand by that answer, but have added onto it, more specifically, I support Kalamazoo, Adirondack and Rockford, but if I am to pick one team to be a "fan" of, it is Flint. After a season long experience with the city and the team, I believe that the Generals organization and their fans best represent a team and hockey club that I proudly can support. When the BorderCats folded I did my best to get behind the Beacons but quickly became disenchanted with every aspect of the new team. I still continue my support of UHL hockey, as always, and will gladly leave what is already on this page up for those who wish to view it. However it is unfair of me to continue to work on a page for a team that I have never really and truly been a fan of. Perhaps in the future, I will start another UHL fan page (thanks for the emails from those of you who liked my PH pages), perhaps maybe even a Generals one next season, but for now, I can recommend a couple good sources for Generals fan sites in the links section below. Thanks for all the people who have submitted things to both of my Port Huron sites.
One last note, please remember that these pictures on this site were used with permission from the photographer. If you wish to use them, please contact me at the following address: wizardoz30@hotmail.com , and I will put you in touch with the photographer and you can request permission. Using them without permission is stealing.
The old BorderCats fan page is still up and the link for it will be in the link section further down the page. Also in the links area you can find the Beacons official homepage and the Around the Rink message board.
