ABOUT US

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am married, have been for over 25 years to a wonderful man.
We have no children, but we have lots of animals.
I used to work full time, but in the summer of 1997 I had to have knee replacement surgery.
I tried to return to work, but was unable to. I had to stand for 7 to 9 hours a day,
and when I returned to work complications set in and I had to quit.
I am looking for work, but it has to be where I can get off my knee when needed.

Well now I am no longer looking for work. I have been told by many employers that I would not be hired because of my problem.
Since I can not stand, sit, nor walk very long at a time, no one would hire me. I am not considered a good employment risk.
To be honest this is what I expected. I have to either lie down, or sit in a recliner, and put my leg up.
This is done several times a day, just to help with the swelling. It doesn't help much, my leg stays atleast 2 inches larger than the other one.

At this time my family consists of two Shepherds, a Chow-mix, and a kitten we took off the streets.
My Shepherds are Ceasar, a two year old German male, and Jody, a three year old American female.
My Chow-mix is TeddyBear, rescued from animal control. Then there is my kitten,Prissy.
She is about three months old, and thinks she is "Queen of the house". Prissy is a gray Tabby.

A few years ago we raised wolf-dogs. I had a wolf-shepherd male, and a wolf-malamute female.
We let her have 3 litters, then had her spayed. We kept 2 male pups from the litters.
One from the first, and one from the last. I'll have pictures of them, but please remember the pictures are old.
