Mission Two - USS Highlander

	WHEREFORE ART THOU EPISODE 2 Limping back to Deep Space 9, the crew of the USS Highlander spend time repairing the damage dished out to them in the rescue of Betazed. Whilst at the station, the Highlander is fitted with a new Holographic Program, by renown Scientific Legend Dr Sian Llewellan II. The H.A.I.P.S System works similar to EMH systems, but with more refinements. For service above and beyond the call of duty, Lt. Jg Stewart and Lt. Lang are promoted. Commander Crusher, hot on the trail of a Federation spy, steals a runabout to search for Commander Shelby, a suspect in question. All of a sudden a emergency distress call eminants from the newly opened worm hole. The USS Sejanus, a Defiant class starship, has been missing in action for quite some time and requires assistance. Moving quickly, the crew of the Highlander enter the Gamma Quadrant under cloak and search for the Sejanus. Detecting a Starfleet signature, the Highlander warps to the defence of a Prometheus Class
vessel battling a squadron of Jem Hedar. As it happens, this is the crew of the Sejanus, having abandoned their Defiant class starship, as she was about to destruct. Together, the two crews dispatch the enemy craft, only to be set upon again, by another wave. Fighting for their very existence, the two crews struggle against a Jem Hedar Battle Cruiser. In a suicidal move, the Sejanus and Highlander attempt to capture the Cruiser by beaming aboard Marines and Security personnel. Unable to complete the mission, the two teams are beam back to the Highlander as the Battle cruiser explodes. Just as the two ships are about to warp out of danger the Sejanus recovers a piece of technology that may turn the tides of the Federations war with the Dominion.
