Pinko and the Action Boys  Is a four piece hardcore punk band from Bridgton (Where?),  Maine.  (Maine is in the upper right corner of your U.S. atlas).  I have been told (by our biggest fan) that we sound like Void (and for those who don't know what Void sound like, It's that '81 D.C. sound, kinda like Minor Threat.  We have been around for about seven years.  Read On about Our rich and vivid history...

Several Thousand years ago, when the Air was thick with magic, and mystical creatures frolicked in the forest, a dark power came from the west, riding a magical serpent. He brought with him his hoards of darkness, and they ravaged the land, killing thousands, and enslaving those that remained. The people prayed that their slaverary and suffering would end, and there prayers were heard.
From the North rode 9 Warriors in huge hulking machines. The Weakest one, The Warrior of Popularity. Next the Warrior of Wealth, in a silver chariot. The Warrior of Fire, in a red chariot. The Warrior of Water waving a noble blade. The Warrior of Rest, in a small aqau-blue chariot with a spoiler. The Warrior of Technology, also known as Tiki-Tiki, in the chariot of the elders. Lastly the Mysterious Warriors of Earth and Wind.
The Warriors banded together and destroyed the dark power, and freed the land. After this battle the warriors were tired so they rested, dormant untill needed, at a sarcred spot, known today, as Bridgton.

Although we may seem like a new band we have existed (in one form or another) for a few years. We started off as an experimental noise band. This was however not our choice, we just couldn't play instruments. I (Ian Action) had never even seen an electric guitar before I had bought one, and our drummer didn't even have drums. We also had a member of the band, Joe Brown, who played trumpet and almost as quickly as the band started, left. I soon broke a string on my guitar, so I sold it and bought a new, much cooler guitar, because I didn't know how to change the strings (or tune it), (I didn't know it then, but I got a lot more money ($150) for my first guitar then it was worth due to the fact the guy working there wasn't to bright.) And Dirty Old Dary, who was then, and will most certainly always be Pinko and The Action Boys' drummer got himself a Dirty New Drum Set, his deluxe Mx Crappies, which he still has to this day (He got new cymbals and High Hat later, though, 'cause the first ones sounded like ass).
Our first practice with Drums we invited down Bill Dozer, who had far more experience with an instrument then any of us, to play guitar. He was no stranger to the Action Boys, he had played with them before, when they didn't have drums, but he didn't own an electrical guitar, so he simply used mine. Boom! A shitty band was formed. We Fiddled around for a while, slowly geting better at our instruments, untill, one fatefull day, we all got really pissed at each other and went our seperate ways... Forming two different bands Question One (A street Punk/Oi! Band. Josh Question - Vox. Ian Action - Guitar. Damien One - Drums. ) and the Dirty Old Men (I don't know what the sounded like. Bill Dozer - Guitar. Dirty Old Dary - Drums. ) with Colin Sick playing bass for both of them (It was only teporary in Question One. I don't know about the Dirty Old Men.)
It didn't take long for us To relize that we had nothing else better to do then to reform Pinko & the Action Boys, especially after Josh Question moved out of state. But then, the action boys got a phone call. It seems Josh was bored shitless and longed for the fresh Bridgton air. The action boys welcomed him back with open arms.
Soon bill expressed a concern to become learned (pronounce learn Ed). He talked this over with the band and with a wave left to pursue a 'college' 'education'. The Action Boys wished him well, but were concered, as they were left with out a guitarist. Little did they know what lie ahead. As the Action Boys were heading up for their last show with Bill they came across a yard sale. This was no ordinary yard sale, it was the Commonwealth "used members and accessories" sale. The Action Boys surveyed the yard and came across an ex-guitarist section. Bonus! After some discussion they shelled out $10 for a slightly used guitarist named Thrash Master P, tied him to the hood of the van and rode off to their next show. They then would get prepared for things to come...
