On this, the 28th day of March, allow The Great One to share his predictions on what will take place this evening at Wrestlemania 15. It is now 11:41am NST, just hours away from the big show. The card has been finalized; the stage is set. With Big Pappa Quiff driving us down the road to WrestleMania, let's now take a stop along the way so The Gord can tell you what will happen tonight in Philadelphia.
KANE vs. HHH
This should be an interesting match. HHH should win and The Great One believes Chyna will return to DX shortly. Given HHH's technical and athletic abilities, along with Kane's size, both wrestlers should put on a good show. This should be one of the better matches on the card, however should also be in a cell or something along those lines.
JJ & OWEN HART vs. ANY TWO SURVIVORS
As you are all well aware, JJ and Owen's opponents will be declared at HEAT just prior to WrestleMania. The Great One believes that LOD will win the Battle Royal on heat and face the champions for the belts. He also feels that LOD will indeed win the belts. They have always been a crowd favorite and need some heat to keep up with the other superstars in the WWF. It is interesting to note that WWF.com is stating that the two survivors may not necessarily be a federation tag team. It could be any two single wrestlers. However, The Gord's money is on LOD.
SABLE vs. TORI
Who gives a shit? The Great One will be going out for a cigarette when this match takes place.
BILLY GUN vs. JOB HOLLY vs. AL SNOW
The Great one is still bewildered regarding the switching of the belts. He is pretty sure that Job Holly won't win. My money's on Bad Ass but I'm pulling for Al Snow. He has definitely earned this belt.
ROAD DOGG vs. SHAMROCK vs. GOLDDUST vs. VAL VENIS
The Great One is going to go out on a limb and predict that Gold Dust will win this match. This match is going to suck. Why is the Road Dogg not fighting for the Hard Core belt? This matches are really hard to call because The Gord is confused by the recent happenings on RAW.
UNDERTAKER vs. BOSSMAN
The Gord hates both of these wrestlers. This is going to be a big disappointment considering how much they promoted this match on RAW. There will be definitely be a screw-job ending to this one. Expect everybody to interfere. If the Bossman wins again, The Great One will turn his back on wrestling for good.
SHANE McMAHON vs. X-PAC
Somehow, Shane will win this match. Expect a bit of interference from the Greenwich posse.
PAUL WIGHT vs. MANKIND
This may very will be the best match on the card. The Giant can wrestle (for a big guy), and no one puts on a show like Mic. This match will be as good as Mankind will let it be. Expect a few missing teeth, chair shots galore, and everything else that usually encompasses a Mankind match. The Great One's call: Paul Wight.
BRAWL FOR ALL
If it's legit, Butterbean all the way. If Bart Gun wins, the match was a work.
THE ROCK vs. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN
Here's what The Great One thinks will happen. With Paul Wight as referee, he will some how try to help The Rock win but fuck up like he's been doing on RAW the past couple of weeks. Stone Cold will win and The Rock will be irate. He will go after The Giant and thus will become the people's champ once again in the next few weeks on RAW. There will be a lot of speculation the Stone Cold will go corporate, but this will not happen. There will be shit on RAW tomorrow night between The Rock and Paul Wight and The Rock will leave Team Corporate.
So there you have it. While watching WrestleMania tonight, remember these picks. Don't worry about forgetting. If he is right with at least seven of these, The Gord's many readers will hear about it for a long time to come.
