LET'S POTTER
I moved the mainsheet aft by adding a block in the pad eye on the boom and a fiddleblock on the tiller;I use a snap shackle so I can easyly move the mainsheet to the old bridle pad eyes (Manual Traveller) |
I added a block in front of the fiddleblock to prevent the cam from accidently locking the mainsheet. You can also see the sternlight on the gunwale
|
Since I moved the mainsheet aft I now use the cam-cleat for the centerboard line with a feed thru block. I can now close the hatch and control the centerboard from the cockpit.
|
I replaced the single blocks with a double and a triple to give me better purchase, I also replaced the fairlead with a cheek block. The extra length of line going across the centerboard arm is used to cleat the centerboard in the down position.
