A Visit from Louis Stokes
Retired Congressman Louis Stokes visited the Saturday Tutoring Program at the Church of the Covenant on April 19, 2008.
He took time to speak with the children and volunteers individually and signed autographs. He answered questions for the high school students and their tutors. He also helped us recognize three of our graduating seniors.
The examples that Mr. Stokes and his family members have set and his advice to "aim high" will be an inspiration for all of us well into the future.
