I bought my baby back on May 1st 2001.
It had 120,000 miles on the clock and cost me
$2,999. I got my first speeding ticket in 5 years on the first test drive. :( Then my first mishap happened the first day I drove it off the lot, the water pump froze while I was on the highway in the rain. In case you dont know if the water pump freezes up you lose your power steering ( due to the belt snapping off), your window defogger doesnt work (due to no heat being sent thru a/c ), and your temperature gauge shoots up faster then Burger Kings fries go outta style. So here I was doing 80 with a fogged up windshield, no power steering and the car overheating. $240 later the car was fixed and I was happy again. I kept the FAITH!. Later my rpms started acting up, so I disconnected the EGR and BPT. Problem fixed. The next thing that went was my downpipe. Due to the car being from Denver, CO. it had alot of rust in the exhaust. I was just about to get a HS G4 header when the radiator decided to call it quits at the same time . So I said forget the HS, and bought a new radiator from a shop and a header from good ol' Pace-Setter. Everything is fine now and the car screams like a dream. I completely love it. I love the "boxy" look, just like the Datsun 510 and I love the way it handles. It is definitely a "Sleeper" to the untrained car enthusiast.
