Model: Sentinel Diesel locomotive

Notes: A scale model at 1" per foot of the Sentinel shunting locomotive used by the Coal Board and other private railways in the UK in the early 1960s.  The model is fully detailed with a dummy engine and four speed gears selected by lever in the cab. Powered by an EO20 motor and drives through a simple torque converter giving infinitely variable torque at each speed.

And now for some variety, we take a branch line and look at some other transportation equipment also moving on rails.

Notes: This model is again built to a scale of 1" to the foot. It is detailed to exhibition standard and boasts operating doors and pantograph. It is powered by 4 M0 motors axle hung and nose suspended exactly as the prototype.  It runs along its own track making very authentic sounds. This model has also been published as Modelplan.
