HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - ``American Beauty'' continues to rack up award nominations, picking up a nod Tuesday for Naomi Shohan's work in production design from the Society of Motion Picture and Television Art Directors.

Lucianna Arrighi for ``Anna and the King''; Owen Paterson, ``The Matrix''; Rick Heinrichs, ``Sleepy Hollow''; and Dante Ferretti, ``Titus,'' also received nominations for excellence in production design for 1999 films.

Ted Danson, star of the CBS series ``Becker,'' will host the organization's awards ceremony Feb. 26 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
