There is something magical about coffee brewed on an open campfire after a long day in the woods. This is one time that the caffein content doesn't seem to affect sleep. Sitting very still on a crisp winter day sometimes produces good photo opportunities Campfires, day or night, seem to illicit contemplation. On this day I was "contemplating" how I missed a nice buck that was kneeling under an apple tree 12 yards from where I was perched (undetected) with my Bear Grizzly Recurve Bow! A trip to Colorado in late winter (non-hunting trip) was a revelation for me. I saw Muledeer, Elk and Big Horn Sheep all in close proximity to well traveled roads. Included were many mature animals that, seemingly, had little fear of humans.
