    I-485 Suppliment A:  As far as the the K-1 goes,  if you take a look at the form and the questions.that are asked... 
                                        it refers to the K-1 Visa... and states if so ' Do Not File This Form '

    " Medical Examination: Submit a medical examination report on the form you have obtained from the INS 
    [ Not required if you are applying for creation of record based on continuous residence since beofre 1/1/72, or if
    you are a K-1 fiance(e) or k-2 dependant of a fiance(e) who had a medical examination within the past year 
    as required for the nonimmigrant fiance(e) visa ]. "

    Tip:  When you file the I-485, be sure to include an additional $25.00 for the fingerprinting fee. You 
          will be contacted at some point to have your finger prints taken.

    Tip:  While you are "waiting"for your K-1 Visa , it would be a very good  idea to become familiar with
          this part of the process  now, because after you enter the U.S. you must file  for change of status
                 within the same 90 days alloted to be married.

    Tip: When you order the forms that are necessary to apply for the change of status,  be sure to order
         the I-485 Package, it was neat stapled bundle of all the goodies  that you will need.  Get two ( 2 ),
         just is case, or use as a rough copy. It is still a good idea to keep copies of all documents that you

    Tip: When you receive the package there are alot of Forms and other helpfull items attached. The end
         result is alot of papers to go through. What we did was split the package up into three (3) sections,
         change of Status, Employment, and Travel, and just included the appropriate forms with each section.

    Tip:   If you plan to apply for " Advance Parole " the I - 131 ,  you will have to request this  form
          seperatly...it does not come with the package.    This is an addtional $ 95.00 US

    Tip:   Once again read the forms and instructions carefully, include all that is asked of now, you dont
           want this application denied.
 

                     QUOTE : " When the person this petition is for enters the U.S. based on this Visa, he or she
                                      shall be admitted for nintey ( 90 ) days in order to marry the petitioner, and based
                                      on that marriage file for adjustment to permanant residence status on Form
                                      I-485. The form to apply for adjustment can be obtained at any local INS office or
                                      INS forms center. Please attach a copy of this notice to the adjustment application
                                      when you file it.."
