I was raised with my two sisters and one brother in a little town called Stuyvesant, NY. From Kindergarden to graduation I attended school at Ichabod Crane Central Schools. I was a member of the Swim Team, Track Team, 4-H, and German Club, among other things. In the Fall of 1995 I went off to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for four years to earn my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. While at RPI I spent a lot of my time as part of a club called Circle K. If you want to know more about Circle K, please follow the link to the left. Since March 2000 I've been working at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia as a Biomedical Engineer. I love reading, swimming, rollerblading, taking walks, and community service. The summer before eighth grade I attended Space Academy for a week. That experience led me to realize I wanted to be an astronaut. Unfortunately, with NASA's stringent vision and medical guidlines I cannot qualify to be an astronaut. I am still pursuing a career at NASA, just not as an astronaut. I still have much to do before I accomplish this goal.
