___ You Are A Blessing ___

Oh Father; How do I begin to thank You,
For this precious new baby?
When I hold this new beautiful little gift of life,
I know that You in all Your love and goodness,
Have given us yet, "another" special blessing.
Already my heart overflows with love for her.
How often You and I talked,
And how often I prayed,
For this little one,
Yet; while still in her Mama's womb.











Her tiny little fingers wrap around mine,
Her eyes so bright, they twinkle, they shine.
Oh Lord how blessed, how pure and sweet,
This tiny little gift divine.
So many blessings within our lives,
So many gifts given in love,
But nothing like a child,
The feel within our hearts,
Nothing can compare,
The blessing lent,
Your gift You share.











Placed in our lives,
To nuture and teach,
Oh Father God;
May she never stray Lord,
Far beyond Your reach.
Help us teach her Your ways,
By truth, faith, love, and example.
May we be worthy as a family,
With wisdom, grace and love,
Our teachings, Blessed Lord,
May they be more than ample.
Grant her Mom and Dad wisdom,
In raising such a precious gift.
May friends and loved one's,
Within her life,
Be those willing to guide and pray,
In her times of need and strife.











Create a special hunger and desire,
Within her tiny heart,
To know, and love, and serve You Lord,
Right from the very start.
May she know Your gift of love and grace,
The warmth and comfort too,
Resting within Your gentle arms,
While leaning Sir, on You.











May she know her need for You,
"Every day and every hour,"
Come to know,
Your strength and wonder working power.
We know that Jesus' prayer,
Had that mighty power,
We know that ours offered to God,
Still do today.
We offer these prayers of dedication,
For these our children,
Our precious grandchildren,
For their future,
Lord Your blessings and will,
Upon our family we pray.











Thanking You Father,
For this precious infant gift,
Our beautiful,
New granddaughter; "Paige," 
For our delightful, zany,
Wonderful grandson; "Cody," 
Who has given us so much "joy!"
Thanking You God,
For this special, special boy.
We love you both very much!
God be with you always,
Now and forever.
May you continue,
To "grow, glow and go,"
Walking in the comforting warmth,
Of His "Son's" light!
