First and foremost, is that it is my hearts desire that any who may visit my homepage, know the love I have for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ*. And I wish all His love and grace and mercy upon each of you.





I was born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania. I enjoy reading and writing poetry. And spending time with friends and family and my beautiful, faithful, black labrador retriever "Miss Tennille"...A perfect ..."#10"... (:

I have been married to my great "hubby" for 42 years; and Tom and I are looking forward to ~OOoohhh~ at least 42 more!!...


 



I have always loved music (of all kinds) but truly am a 50's kinda gal...





The pride and joy of my life is just being "Nannie" to a real #1 "Dude" Cody..."Da-Man"... Who inadvertently keeps us all on our "tippy-toes" and feeling young. He has introduced me to the fascinating world of "Little Boys"...bugs, boy toys, ball and ~ "DIRT!" ~

We added on a ("spankin') brand new "two foot addition" to our home.
Our precious granddaughter ... "Miss Paige Makenna Davis" ... joined the family. :)

Thank You Father for these two beautiful heaven sent gifts!



My only child, Vicki* has always been...
Sugar and Spice...and Everything Nice. 





My online experience has been nothing short of "great" and yes I confess I'm a "Web-a-holic*"





There has been so much to see and so many new friends acquired. So my "Web-Box" appropriately has been unanimously "Christened" ("THE"...Friend-Box!...) (:






My e-pals have become some of my greatest friends and confidants. We've shared alot of smiles (: hugs, a few tears ): and a lot of prayers. I collect "Boyds Bears"... Gotta Luv-em'!... :)

~ Always Keep Looking For Rainbows!! ~

Good long books, songs well sung...
A small child "giggle", Freedom and fun.
My home, my health; God's unchanging word;
The sound of a train, In the distance be heard.
Watching my child grow in God's tender grace,
Seeing a smile spread wide 'ore a face.
Walking and running; Holding a hand
Shuffling barefoot in the warm summers sand.
Gardens that grow, Birds in flight;
The old man in the moon on a crisp cold night.
Buds that blossom Water so blue;
Thoughtful deeds a friend will do.
A new friend to make, An old friend to keep;
A babbling creek thats only knee deep.
Patriotism.. The love of God.
The sight of Ole' Glory ~ A fairy tale story.
Tears that are shed by someone who cares;
Snow pants and mittens a small child wears.
Extra big, baby blue eyes,
Great big welcomes; And sad goodbyes!
Cute little dogs, A soft gentle breeze;
The colors in fall of all the trees.
Rolling down a grassy green hill;
A squeeze so tight;
To let one know that all is alright.
A firm handshake, A gentle touch;
And even a Mother who cares too much!
A mischievous twinkle in someones eye;
Laughter and tears, Wide grins, soft sighs.
The Christmas spirit, Gifts given in love;
Thunder clapping and pounding above.
Fluffy white clouds that make a shape,
Punctual people whom never are late.
Flower beds, A clean kept home
A long distance chat on the telephone.
Learning, winning, yet knowing how to lose;
The right we have in our country to choose.
Quiet summer sunsets, Morning sunrise;
That special little look in a new parents eyes.
The smell of roses and a fresh apple pie..
All these are reasons of how and just why..
I love life and all He has given;
And I'm thankful to God
That I'm enjoying and living.
