Many a weary woman
Has called it names
To many and most men
It's their favorite game!!
Whether it's the Steelers,
Packers, Dolphins or Jets,
What's my little woman ask
"Who's playing..the Mets??"
A great ~touchdown!~
A beautiful run to score!
The fans all yell out
With an approving loud roar!
As my well briefed wife
Announces to our son
"Well they did it again..
Got another~Homerun!!"~
First quarter; second quarter;
It's now a tied score
So proudly she proclaims
"Only two innings more!"
Dear, What's a halfback?..
Who's playing quarterback?..
Yes,I think I understand~
But whats that guy doing
With that football in his hands??

~Beautiful~
~Beautiful pass~
A 60 yard run
"Wow!"That is exciting
Does that mean we've won??
Ohh~No! Fourth quarter!
You can do it yet
Come on fellas'
What about my bet!?
~Alright!~Very last chance
To help pull me through
I don't think we can do it now dear
~"Do you??"~
So everyone gets a bad day
When nothing goes right
But one thing I can say
They put up a heck of a fight!
I really do regret honey
That you lost the bet
But then I did tell you
Not to go with the "Mets!"
Besides you know
You can't win them all...
And thats my little woman
And the game of football..!!~
