The Simple Things

In Loving Memory Jack Wynkoop

Lord, teach us: To weigh the important things. Like the joy of simplicity, Which my Daddy once lived.
It's worth an eternity,
More precious than gold,
It's memories like these,
In my heart which I hold.

His love of life, And life's simple pleasures,
This was his happiness;
His earthly treasures.

Time now our own,
For thinking our thoughts;
Reflecting the lessons,
Dear Daddy; you taught.

Your life's work now over,
Your journey is done,
Now secure in the arms,
Of your Father's own Son.

Here yet we have our work to do,
And still or lives to spend
May ours be true and simple too,
Until the very end.
We know your love was truly ours,
But only a love on lend.

And now we know, Within our hearts,
It's us who's lost
And you who's found
For now your life begins.
Rest sweetly "Dear Daddy" Until
we embrace And meet once again.

To miss love is to miss life.
You lived life and taught us love.
"Thank You Daddy" Of all the special ways, That gratitude can be expressed, The simple phrase, "God Bless You," Somehow seems the very best. ~ We Love You ~

Embrace the memories, Celebrate his life, Recall, cherish and hold on to "The Best Of Times"

Dedicated To: Deb, Chris, April and Jerry
And for all those fortunate enough, Who learned the true meaning of love, in simple pleasures, Through your life, And truly "loved" you.

Rest in His arms, The blessings of the Lord Be upon you. Psalm 129:8
