With Unkind Words 


She's hurt my feelings many times,
With things she said I felt unkind.
To her; No harm, a silly joke
A little fun or unkind poke.
It's easy to veer to the left or the right
Find faults in others,
Bicker and fight.
Well; the devil's laughing at you, my friend
When conflict, confusion and fussing begin.
He's taking all he can from you,
He'll twist your meaning and block your view.
Be strong in the Bible
Sweet in the spirit,
If it's unkind words
Have no time to hear it!
Reflect "His" life in all you can,
Be kind and loving and understand.
If it would hurt, what you might say,
Leave it behind, throw it away.
Christ never made fun, at someone's expense,
Or hurt someone's feelings on false pretense.
I can't imagine you'd ever see,
Christ sit, stare or giggle
Or make fun of thee.
So just remember that if we do,
We mock our Saviour, as "He" lives in you.
So when we feel like hurting another
Remember in Christ,
That's your sister or brother.
Stand strong in the Bible,
Sweet in the spirit,
If it's unkind words
Have no time to hear it.
Do it Christ's way,
Turn the refersal on words at play,
And tell that same person;
To Have A Nice Day!!
