The continental divide,
stretching from Alberta in the north, down through most of
the U. S. offers mountain scenery equal to, and perhaps
surpassing the Alps in Europe. The Banff Jasper highway is
something to put on your life list of things to experience.
This is a year round resort area, though most travellers
visit in winter for the skiing, or in summer to view
wildlife and explore the outdoors.
