Mulder: Scully, if what our friend from the CIA says is true, this could blow the lid off one of the biggest national security conspiracies ever. Scully: Our friend from the CIA is about as unbelievable as his story... as is everything about this case. I mean, whatever happened to "trust no one," Mulder? Mulder: Oh, I changed it to "trust everyone." I didn't tell you? |
You know what, even if Mulder really had changed it to "trust everyone" I wouldn't put it past him to do so and not tell Scully. That is so typically Mulder.
Assuming he had an understanding with Skinner: He ought to know better than that.
Mulder should really be more careful when running out into traffic after someone. He's lucky he didn't get more seriously hurt or killed!
Why was Mulder so quick to join up with that pseudo CIA agent? Did he forget to "trust no one?"
Pot, kettle, black Mulder. You should never accuse anyone of being paranoid without first looking in the mirror. Besides, someone had to question people when you decide to swallow their story hook, line, and sinker.
Screaming on Scully when she questioned Agent Chapel's credibility. Someone had to. Mulder has a tendency to believe anyone claiming to be trying to expose a conspiracy without considering that the person could be part of the conspiracy.
That lie that Mulder was planning to tell Skinner was not cute. Lying by omission is still lying.
