This is Mulder at his worst. Granted it's due to a weird planetary alignment but all it did was exacerbate Mulder's punkesque qualities to begin with. It's a good thing that planetary alignment only occurs once every 84 years.

Once again Smarmy!Mulder rears his ugly head. This time he explains Scully's impatience and relates instances of witnesses being swayed by rumors. Once again when queried by Detective White (Tramp!) about the burning coffin his brilliant answer: Don't ask me.
Apologizing to Detective White (Tramp!) for Scully's behavior. Scully hasn't done anything for which anyone should be apologizing. In fact it is Mulder who ought to be apologizing to Scully for his punk ass behavior.
I can see why Mulder doesn't get too many dates. Solve the mystery of the horny beast? How low-budget a pick-up line is that?
Ditching Scully then denying it. Typical.
So Mulder knows how much Scully enjoys snapping on the latex huh? That comment was completely unnecessary.
Mulder was right. The time he chose to mention that someone was wearing his favorite perfume couldn't have been any worse.
Sniffing Scully: I'm sure that that is not in the FBI's code of conduct. In addition he couldn't have picked a worse time to do it. Never sniff your angry partner then say oh it must be so and so who's wearing it. Especially when your partner is railing into you about your behavior with so and so.
What a punk! After using what can only be described as the world's cheesiest pick up line Mulder runs like a scared little boy when Detective White (Tramp!) takes him up on his offer.
The comment about him not knowing if Scully's little feet could touch the pedals: Another unnecessary barb tossed his partner's way.
Drinking on the job: Definitely a career no no! In addition he mixes what had to be the worst screwdriver on the planet.
