Scully: Are you with Nemhauser? Mulder: No. Should I be? Scully: Well, that's who I was calling. He left this number on my answering machine. He said he had to talk to me.... Mulder? Do you know where he is? Mulder: I'm not sure. |
He may not have been sure where Nemhauser was but it may have been a good time to mention that he found a body. Why the hell didn't he mention that? Then again with the punk ass way he'd been acting throughout the whole episode why should that omission surprise me?
Wallpapering his apartment with Mostow's drawings: That's just plain freaky!
Sleeping in Mostow's studio: I don't care how much it is alleged to help the psycho-hunting process, spending the night in the suspect's studio, especially one in which dismembered bodies were found is just plain creepy.
Not returning Scully's phone calls for two days and in essence ditches Scully for two days. Nice way to treat your partner!
I wonder if Mulder's mother ever taught him to say "thank you" and "please?" It wouldn't have hurt any to thank the EMT for patching up his sorry hide. Instead Mulder walks off leaving Scully to perform the niceties.
In one of Mulder's more blatant ditches of this episode, he just walks off while Scully is trying to talk to him. Then he just gets in his car and drives off. I'm surprised he didn't run over her foot.
Naturally, because Mulder's acting like a jackass Scully ends up having to keep his deteriorating mental state a secret from Skinner. It's a position Scully shouldn't have to be in.
Okay, now call me nutsy but shouldn't Mulder have mentioned the bloody arm he found while at Mostow's studio? It sounds like this is the kind of thing that Scully should know about. It certainly might have helped matters later when she arrived on the scene.
Theft: Somehow I don't think that Mulder had permission to remove all those drawings from Mostow's studio.
Assault: Hitting prisoners is a civil rights violation Mulder! Tsk! Tsk!
