Talitha Cumi

Mulder practices his macho wall slamming skills on the Cigarette Smoking Man. He adds the crazed look and the gun for affect. CSM doesn't seem convinced.

Scully:  Are you okay?

Mulder:  Yeah.  I'm, um... I just can't help thinking there's a correlation.

Scully:  Correlation?

Mulder:  A connection to the shootings at the fast food restaurant.

Scully:  I... I'm sorry, I, I don't understand...

Neither do I.  Where does he come up with these leaps?  I guess it could be worse, he could have started talking about alien abductions.

General Punkesque Behavior

Talk about your leaps!  How the hell did Mulder come up with the thought that there may remotely be a correlation between his mother's stroke and the shooting at the diner?

Yet another Mulder ditch:  This one was fairly obvious.  He runs off telling Scully that if he told her where he was going she wouldn't let him go.  When Scully points out that he hadn't slept in 24 hours his parting words are "Call me if you find anything."

Breaking all the lamps at the summer house:  I don't care if his mother vowed never to set foot in the house.  I'm sure she wouldn't have appreciated the mess he made.

Mulder does it again:  He pulls his gun and points it at someone dangerous (in this case the Cigarette-Smoking Man) when he knows damn well that he wasn't going to pull the trigger.

You just gotta love how Mulder calls Scully at home at 1a.m.  I don't think he has any idea how rude it is to call people in the middle of the night.

Unprofessional Behavior

Shouting at Skinner:  That will not exactly induce the man to help you.  Not to mention it could piss him off and it's never wise to piss off one's boss.

Criminal Activity

Assault and battery:  This time the Cigarette-Smoking Man is his victim.  He didn't hit the nicotine-stained bastard hard enough.
