Like that would have changed how Mulder reacted one bit. Puh-Shaw! Once Mulder goes off on a tear it's damn hard to reel him in.
Despite the less than helpful actions of the hospital staff yelling is not a good idea. He's lucky he didn't end up on the psych ward.
Apparently Mulder never learned not to answer a question with another question. In the whole time Mulder was in Blevin's office with Blevins, that other guy, and Skinner he never makes an actual statement.
Mulder's sarcasm toward Skinner in the hallway is ill advised. With Scully in the hospital Skinner is his only ally.
Showing up late at the review panel meeting is not a good move.
Assault and battery: Has Mulder ever been on the winning side of a physical confrontation with Skinner? Well the ICU was a bad choice of locations to attempt to break this streak.
